Florence's Santa Maria Novella train station, the main station in the city, is close to the historic center, and is a major hub for city and regional buses, making it easy to get to and from the station if you're traveling light.

Torino Porta Nuova is Turin's main station, and third only to Roma Termini and Milano Centrale in terms of overall passenger traffic. There are several bus and tram lines that stop outside the station to make it easier to get around the city, and there's also a Metro (subway) station underneath the train station itself.

Torino Porta Susa is Turin's secondary station and where you'll find most of the trains to and from Milan. There are bus lines that stop at the station as well.
